You’ll notice that there are five ad formats available through Clickads: text ads, rich media banners, graphical banners, pop-under and interstitial ads. You’ll also notice that there are a number of cost metrics available, including the more conventional cost per click (CPC) and cost per 1000 impressions (CPM), as well as cost per visit (CPV) and cost per interstitial (CPI).

The minimum prices vary with each type of ad format and cost. Of course, like other ad networks, you’ll be competing with other advertisers to get that advertising space, so you’ll need to place you bids accordingly.

 

Step 1

Fill the information and verify your account from the email address you signed up.

 

Step 2 – Create new campaign

After signing up as an advertiser with Clickads, go through the simple, step by step process to create your first advertisement. There are quick links on the left sidebar to create a new campaign and view your campaigns, For instance, while the main navigation is done with the links across the top of the page. you get an account summary on the right side of the main page as well.

Click on campaigns from the admin sidebar

Click on create new campaign

 

Step 3 – Create your campaign

There is a step-by-step wizard that walks you through the process of starting a new advertising campaign with Clickads. The first page gets you to choose a targeting type, as well as the campaign type and minimum bid price. Most of us will use auto optimization, but more advanced users can override that.

The ad creation step will vary with the campaign type. If you’re doing a text banner, you’ll define the headline and the two lines of text, along with the destination URL. If you choose a rich media or graphical banner, you’ll upload the necessary files and code accordingly and so on with rest media offers.

Campaign Name: Add a name for your campaign. For example: Dell Laptop promotion.

Campaign Type: Choose a cost metric for your campaign.

Advertising URL: This is the URL your ads will link to.

Minimum Bid Price: This is the system minimum bid price. You cannot able to change it.

Maximum Bid Price: This is the maximum bid price you can afford. The default value is the system recommended price, you can change this price as you wish but it must be greater the minimum bid price.

Daily Limit: This value is the daily maximum spending limit for this campaign. The campaign will automatically pause once the daily spending reaches this value. The real daily maximum spending may not be accurate as the number you set; the discrepancy is usually less than 3% due to the server delay.

My site contains adult content or service: If your ad creative and URL includes adult content or services, please choose “Yes”; if not, choose “No”.

Campaign Budget: This is your total planned budget for this campaign.

 

 

Step 4 – Create the campaign creative

After you choose the ad format, you need to create your ad. Save and go next.

Step 5 – Ad created notification

After you finalize your ad creative you will get a message for campaign confirmation. At this point you can continue to the next step of the campaign setup, or/and add funds to the campaign/account.

Step 6 – Add keywords

At this phase like any PPC campaign you ever created, you need to add the targeted keywords related to your campaign. You don’t have a limit for the number of keywords.

After you add your keywords, make sure to insert a competitive bid cost, so you get more clicks.

Note: too low bids can make your campaign ads run slower than higher bids. Recommended minimum bid price should be $0.2 and up. Save your campaign and move into the next step.

 

Step 7 – Select your channel

It’s highly recommended not to skip this step as it can really help your campaign to be better targeted and also perform much better.

Select all channels related to the campaign. You have no limitation on the number of channels.

 

Step 8 – GEO Targeting

You have 2 options: Country or City

Option 1 – Country:

If you choose country, you can select any country or select all countries

 

Option 2 – City:

If you select city, you need to consider 3 main parameters:
1. City name
2. Radius in miles
3. Selected areas around the specified radius.

 

Step 9 – Select the languages you would like to target

 

Step 10 – Ad Time ScheduleTarget

. By default, your Admark campaigns are set to run for all times: 24hours/7days, which means we’ll automatically try to spend your entire daily budget during each calendar day your ad is active.
If you want your ad to run on specific dates, days and hours, click on “Enable Ad scheduling” button, otherwise click on “Skip to Next step” button which is the final one adding funds to your account.

 

Ad Scheduling

Timing is everything, so you want to make sure your customers are awake and online to see your ads.
Ad Scheduling lets you tell Clickads exactly when you want your ads to run, and more importantly — when you do not want them to run. In addition, more advanced users can automatically modify their bids based on time-of-day and day-of-week cycles in campaign performance.
Ad scheduling can also help you improve your ROI by ensuring that your ads run when it makes the most business sense. For instance, a local business may only want to run their ads during business hours, or an online retailer may want to boost their bids during their busier-than-normal lunch time shopping period.

On Ad scheduling there are some parameters you would want to consider:
1. Enable Ad Scheduling
2. Campaign Dates
3. Campaign Week Days
4. Campaign Day Hours
5. Save Setting

 

Step 11 – Adding Funds

It’s very important to understand the payment process on the platform.
There are 2 phases for payment
1. Adding funds to the account itself
2. Adding funds for a campaign from the account budget.

For example let’s say you have 3 campaigns to run:
* Campaign 1 – $100
* Campaign 2 – $75
*Campaign 3 – $125
>> Total: $300

You first add the total budget to your account, and after it’s reflected in the account, you add to each campaign its own budget from the total account funds.

It’s recommended that you add funds to the account before you commence creating the campaigns.

If you don’t have any fund in the account, the system will notify that you have $0 funds in the account and that you need to add funds to it, before you add it into the campaign itself.

 

 

Choose the Amount

 

Select your Billing method

You can pay with Credit Card or with your Paypal account

 

After you add the funds it will be reflected in your account funds in the account sidebar

 

Reports

You can generate different types of reports:
1. General Report: Dates report for Click/Impressions , CTR, Amount Spent

 

2. Channel Report:Provides you the clicks per keyword & campaign channels

 

3. Geographic Report: Provides traffic per selected area

 

4. Sites Report:Provides more conversion details from each site you advertise at

 

6. Payment History: You can review all of your history transactions with Clickads

 

Tracking Tools

You can track the success of the campaign in few levels:
Sale/Purchase, Sign up, Lead and others.
All you need is to copy the tracking code and paste on the landing page for tracking.
